Personal Data

When do we use, transmit and process your personal data?
We respect that the careful handling of your personal data is very important to you. At Spirit of OM GmbH, data protection has a high priority. To ensure this, we strictly comply with the statutory provisions of the Federal Data Protection Act and the Telemedia Act when collecting, using and processing data.

We require your personal data in the following cases:

when you place an order (by telephone, by e-mail, via the online shop)
when you participate in events and competitions when you contact us
when you use the protected area “Your Account” in the Spirit of OM B2B online shop
when subscribing to the newsletter 

We use your personal data:

to process your orders
to deliver the goods (transfer of data to delivery services & freight forwarders)
to process payments to prevent misuse on our website
to inform you about orders, products and services
to send newsletters for our own market research purposes

Upon request, we will provide you free of charge with information about the data stored about you or your pseudonym. If you wish to do so, please send us a message. We are also obliged, upon request, to correct, block or delete the data stored about you.

As a rule, you may contact the supervisory authority of your habitual residence or place of work or of our company headquarters. 

Order Processing

We store personal data primarily for optimal order processing. For this purpose, we may pass it on to other companies, for example to suppliers who deliver the goods you ordered directly from the factory to you. The data passed on in this way may only be used by the recipient to fulfil its task. Any other use of the information is contractually prohibited.

E-mail advertising without newsletter subscription and your right to object

If we receive your e-mail address in connection with the sale of goods or services and you have not objected to this, we reserve the right, on the basis of Section 7 (3) UWG, to regularly send you offers by e-mail for similar products from our range to those you have already purchased. This serves to safeguard our overriding legitimate interests in advertising communication with our customers within the framework of a balancing of interests.

You may object to this use of your e-mail address at any time by sending a message to the contact option described below or via a link provided for this purpose in the advertising e-mail, without incurring any costs other than the transmission costs according to the basic tariffs. In order for our website to function properly, we use cookies.
